Easy Peach Caprese Salad

Peach caprese salad with an olive oil and balsamic glaze drizzle.
Peach caprese salad is a delicious twist on traditional caprese salad. It has juicy peaches, creamy mozzarella (dairy-free), fresh basil, and good quality olive oil. Make this seasonal appetizer for a picnic, BBQ, or hot summer night.

Instructions

  • Assemble. Layer peach slices, mozzarella slices, and fresh basil leaves on a large plate or platter.
  • Season. Sprinkle with flaky salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste.
  • Drizzle. Drizzle olive oil and balsamic glaze (if using) on top. Enjoy!

Notes

If your peaches are really sweet, I don't recommend using the glaze, otherwise the salad ends up tasting too sweet overall.

Make It Your Way: Substitutions & Variations

No peaches? - you can also use nectarines for a similar flavor and texture.
Not dairy free? - use a fresh ball of mozzarella.
Add-ins - fresh tomatoes such as sliced heirloom tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, or grape tomatoes layered in between the sweet peaches.
