Peach simple syrup is an easy way to add a fresh, peach flavor to your favorite drinks, desserts, and more. It's made with real fruit and is incredibly versatile.

Instructions
Dissolve sugar. Heat the water and sugar in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Constantly stir until the sugar dissolves, then add the peach slices.
Simmer. Reduce to medium heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Mash the peaches with a fork as they soften to infuse more of their flavor into the syrup.
Strain. Place a fine mesh strainer over a glass jar and pour the peach syrup through, gently pressing against the peaches to help extract all the syrup. Don't throw away the syrupy stewed peaches, they're delicious!
Cool and store. Let the syrup cool to room temperature before storing it in the fridge.
