Baked Sliced Cinnamon Apples

Baked sliced cinnamon apples taste like warm apple pie filling without the pie crust and will make your whole house smell amazing. This easy recipe is gluten free and dairy free.

Ingredients
 

  • 5 medium peeled and cored apples cut into ¼ - ⅓ inch slices
  • 2 tablespoons melted dairy free butter or unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ cup light brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Add the apple slices, melted butter, lemon juice, cinnamon sugar mixture, and a pinch of salt to a large bowl. Mix until the apple slices are evenly coated.
  • Transfer the apple mixture to a 9x12 baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes, stirring the apples halfway through.
  • Serve warm with a drizzle of dairy free caramel sauce, dairy free miso caramel, or a scoop of ice cream.
