Instructions
Prep cantaloupe. Cut the cantaloupe in half, scoop out the seeds and place the cut side down on a cutting board. Use a sharp knife to remove the thick skin. Cut the cantaloupe into chunks.
Blend. Add half of the chopped cantaloupe to a blender along with half the water (2 cups) and 1 tablespoon lime juice. Blend on high until smooth. Taste and add 1 tablespoon of organic cane sugar, honey, etc., if needed and blend again. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
Strain. Pour the cantaloupe juice through a fine mesh strainer or a nut milk bag over a large bowl to remove the pulp. Compost or discard the pulp.
Serve. Add ice cubes to a glass and pour the cantaloupe agua fresca over the top. Garnish with mint leaves if desired. Enjoy!
