Guacamole Without Onions (No Cilantro)

This chunky guacamole without onions or cilantro has a fresh flavor, is ready in 5 minutes, and only requires a handful of simple ingredients, but can easily be customized. Serve it during a game day, taco Tuesday, or as a healthy snack.

Ingredients
 

  • 3 medium ripe avocados
  • zest of 1 lime
  • juice of 1 lime about 2 tablespoons
  • ¼ cup diced tomatoes if using a large variety, remove the seeds first
  • kosher salt to taste
  • freshly cracked black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Cut the avocados in half and remove the avocado pit. Scoop out the flesh and add it to a bowl along with the lime zest and lime juice.
  • Mash the avocados until the texture is to your liking.
  • Fold the diced tomatoes into the mashed avocado mixture. Season to taste with kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper. Serve with your favorite tortilla chips.

Make It Your Way: Substitutions & Variations

No lime juice? - you can also use lemon juice and lemon zest.
No tomatoes? - Feel free to leave them out.
