Blood Orange Mocktail With Hibiscus

Blood orange mocktail is a fruity, floral, slightly tart, non-alcoholic drink made with freshly squeezed blood orange juice and a homemade hibiscus syrup. There are no artificial colors or flavors and you don’t need a cocktail shaker to make this delicious drink!

Ingredient Notes

  • Blood oranges – an orange variety that’s smaller in size, more aromatic in flavor, and has flesh that ranges in color from ruby pink to blood-red, hence the name.
  • Hibiscus simple syrup – hibiscus tea leaves, organic cane sugar, and water.
  • Sparkling water – could also use club soda.
  • Ice

  1. Mix juice and syrup. Mix the freshly squeezed blood orange juice and hibiscus simple syrup in the bottom of a lowball glass until well combined.
  2. Add ice and bubbles. Add ice and fill the glass the rest of the way with sparkling water. Garnish with a blood orange slice or some dried hibiscus tea leaves on top.

  • handful ice cubes
