What You’ll Love About This Recipe

  • Better than store-bought – Homemade salad dressing is always exponentially better than anything you could buy at the store.
  • Fresh – Fresh orange juice is preferred over store-bought juice as it yields the best flavor.
  • Simple ingredients – This fresh orange vinaigrette is made with a handful of pantry staples you likely already have on hand.

Ingredients

Here’s what you’ll need to make this orange dressing:

  • Fresh oranges – you can use any variety: blood oranges, cara cara oranges, navel oranges, etc. You’ll use both the orange zest and the juice so depending on what variety you choose, it’ll slightly alter the color.
  • Olive oil – I love the flavor that olive oil lends to vinaigrettes. But you can also use avocado oil if you’d prefer.
  • White wine vinegar
  • Dijon mustard
  • Honey
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper – to taste.
