What You’ll Love About This Recipe

  • Healthy – These granola yogurt bowls are full of healthy fats, protein, and fiber.
  • Simple ingredients – You only need a handful of ingredients to make this easy breakfast recipe.
  • Great for busy mornings – You can either make homemade granola ahead of time or use a store bought option, slice up the fruit before hand, and you have a great, low-effort breakfast option.

Ingredients

Here’s what I used to make these granola bowls:

  • Crunchy granola – I love making homemade granola because you get way more bang for your buck than anything you’ll find at the grocery store. I made a variation of my maple tahini nut free granola, but I also understand not always having time to make it, so store bought is also fine.
  • Fresh fruit – I used clementine orange segments, pears, and pomegranate seeds because they’re in season right now and add lots of color, but any seasonal fruit is great. You can also use thawed frozen fruit.
  • Dairy free yogurt – I used Cocojune’s pineapple yuzu protein yogurt for extra protein and a hint of extra flavor, but you can really use anything.
  • Toppings – hemp seeds, nuts, shredded coconut, etc.

Helpful Tips

Quick Tip: To make it an even more filling option, use a protein yogurt (for dairy free, Cocojune has a few flavors) or greek yogurt if not dairy free.

Frequently Asked Questions

What goes in a granola bowl?

A granola bowl is really a blank canvas as to what you put in it. Typically it’ll have contrasting textures like creamy yogurt, crunchy granola, fresh or dried fruit, and some type of crunchy topping of nuts or seeds, maybe a drizzle of honey. You can create many variations each time by changing up the type of ingredients.
